HubSpot Integration

TABLE OF CONTENTS

Connecting the two systems

Our goal at Coachbar is to simplify customer journey management by integrating with HubSpot for seamless data synchronization between the two systems. To integrate HubSpot with ChannelBoost, go to Integrations, click "Connect Now" under HubSpot, and follow the instructions.

Please log in to your HubSpot account on a separate tab. After logging in, click on "Connect Now" to start the process.

Before connecting the app, carefully review all details. After connecting, you will be directed to Coachbar.

Sync Direction

Let's start by selecting the sync direction option. You may choose between three options

  • Data syncs between apps: Data synchronization between Coachbar and HubSpot ensures new and updated object information is reflected on both platforms. If records exist on both platforms, their properties will be merged.
    • When this option is enabled, two additional options are displayed as shown below.

      Data
conflict resolution: This essentially defines the master source for the data.
      • Use Hubspot Data: When this setting is enabled, all data within ChannelBoost will be replaced by data from HubSpot.
      • Use ChannelBoost Data: By choosing this setting, only new referrals will be created and HubSpot data will not overwrite existing Coachbar data.

  • Data syncs only to HubSpot: Data will sync from ChannelBoost to HubSpot for all new and updated object information.
  • Data syncs only to ChannelBoost: Data will only sync from HubSpot to ChannelBoost for new and updated object information.

Setting up Referral sync

Map ChannelBoost Referral Status

Under settings >> Referrals, go ahead and map your referral statuses between each system. This will allow ChannelBoost to sync each and every referral in the way you need it in HubSpot.

Map ChannelBoost Referral Subscription

Next, go ahead and map ChannelBoost subscription details to a HubSpot property.

Map ChannelBoost Properties

Next, please take a moment to review the property mappings. By default, we have mapped the standard fields of a referral accordingly. However, if any other fields require mapping, you can proceed to map those as well.

After reviewing the configurations, you have the choice to enable automatic lead synchronization between both systems. By default, it is set to automatic, however, if you prefer to sync it manually, you can disable the toggle and use the sync button.

Setting up Deal sync

In the same way, let's take a look at how to map deal stages. Select the relevant pipeline, then map the stages of a deal between the two systems, adding more stages if needed.

After finishing all the required configurations, you can choose to enable automatic deal synchronization between the two systems. By default, this feature is already set to automatic. However, if you prefer to sync it manually, you can turn off the toggle and use the sync button whenever you want.

The toggle below is a setting that enables you to configure a field in your HubSpot account for syncing partner information. If it's turned on, you can map the field. If it's turned off, the channelboost_deal_software_provider property will be created automatically during the first referrals sync.

Logs

Under the logs tab, you can view audit information to track synced data and disconnect the integration when needed.
