Overview
The HubSpot integration enables seamless, configurable data synchronization between ChannelBoost and HubSpot. Support includes two-way syncing, selective list-based syncing, multi-pipeline deal mapping, and hyperlink navigation between systems.
Connecting HubSpot with ChannelBoost
To initiate integration:
- Navigate to Integrations within ChannelBoost.
- Click “Connect Now” under the HubSpot section.
- Ensure HubSpot login is active in a separate browser tab.
- Follow the prompted authorization steps to establish the connection.
After connection, configuration options will become available in ChannelBoost.
Sync Direction Option
Choose the appropriate sync direction based on operational preferences:
1. Two-Way Sync
Enables full synchronization of data across both systems.
Updates and newly created records reflect in both platforms.
Field values merge based on the selected master source.
Conflict Resolution Settings:
- Use HubSpot Data: HubSpot fields take precedence when duplicates exist.
- Use ChannelBoost Data: ChannelBoost retains original data; HubSpot is updated with new records only.
2. Sync Only to HubSpot
Pushes data from ChannelBoost to HubSpot for new and updated records.
3. Sync Only to ChannelBoost
Pulls data from HubSpot into ChannelBoost, syncing new and modified records only.
Selective Sync: Referrals and Deals by List
Referrals and Deals can be limited to selected records using HubSpot Lists.
Step 1: Create a List in HubSpot
Navigate to CRM > Lists.
Click Create List and assign a name.
Choose a List Type:
Static List: Manually curated.
Active List: Dynamically updated based on conditions.
Add records or define inclusion criteria.
Save the list.
Step 2: Map List in ChannelBoost
In ChannelBoost, navigate to HubSpot integration settings and select the created list. Only records within this list will sync.
Step 3: Enable Two-Way Sync
Toggle the two-way sync option to keep selected records updated in both systems.
Referral Sync Configuration
Status Mapping
Under Settings > Referrals, map referral status values between both systems.
Subscription Mapping
Connect ChannelBoost subscription fields to corresponding HubSpot properties.
Property Mapping
Review and customize referral field mappings. Default mappings are provided, with the option to add custom fields.
Sync Behavior
Referral data syncs every 12 hours (UTC) by default. Manual sync can be triggered by disabling auto-sync.
API Rate Limit: 110 requests per 10 seconds (HubSpot account level)
Deal Sync Configuration - Multi-Pipeline Support
Pipeline Field Filter
Users can now apply a field-based filter when syncing Deals across pipelines. This allows syncs to target only deals where a specific HubSpot property matches a defined value. This is especially useful for limiting data flow to relevant sales teams or business units.
To enable:
Navigate to the Deal Sync Settings in ChannelBoost.
Select the HubSpot field to use as a filter (e.g., "Sales Team").
Enter the matching value (e.g., "West Region").
Only Deals matching this value will be included in the sync.
Two-Way Deal Syncing
Supports full bidirectional syncing of Deals between multiple HubSpot pipelines and ChannelBoost.
Ensures pipeline-specific deal visibility and unified progress tracking.
Deal Stage Mapping
Select pipelines from HubSpot for mapping.
Map each deal stage to ChannelBoost statuses.
Multiple stages can be linked to the same status for flexible handling.
Pipeline Visibility Enhancements
Deal Detail Page now displays pipeline information and deal progress.
Deal Listing Page includes pipeline filter for precise deal management.
Sync Settings
Automatic sync is enabled by default (12-hour interval, UTC).
Manual sync can be enabled via toggle control in settings.
Partner Field Configuration
Optional field in HubSpot can be mapped to record partner details. If disabled, channelboost_deal_software_provider
is created during first sync.
Embedded Hyperlinks for Deal Source Access
All synced HubSpot Deals and Referrals include clickable hyperlinks within ChannelBoost.
Hyperlinks enable direct access to corresponding HubSpot records for faster navigation and verification.
