Automation

The ChannelBoost automation module enables you to automate matchmaking and manage leads and deals. You can customize the behavior of specific tasks and notify the relevant parties as required. Let's explore how to set up these rules and leverage them to improve our business processes.


To create an automation rule, navigate to the automation tab and click on "Create Automation".


Clicking the button will open another page where you can create an automation based on Coachbar's provided templates or create one from scratch.


For the purpose of this article, let's explore how to create an automation rule from scratch. Clicking the button will open the following page.


Please go ahead and enter a name and description of the type of automation you are creating. You can also do this at the end before saving.

Next, you need to choose the appropriate module, trigger point, and name the event.


Following this, you can now click the plus icon to add either another action or a condition.


For this example, I am adding a condition based on the region. Don't forget to save after each step.


Then, based on whether the condition is true or false, we can add relevant actions to each.


If condition = true, the system will submit the lead to a relevant partner.


If condition = false, the system will assign the lead to a staff member who will take care of it.


In the same manner, you can add as many actions/conditions as you need.


Once you have configured everything as needed, please make sure to save and mark the automation as active.


Once you activate automation rules, you can use the logs tab to monitor workflow execution and troubleshoot any issues.
