The Partner Program page is a powerful tool designed to help software providers establish, manage, and enhance their relationships with partners. This feature enables providers to create tailored programs that align with their business goals, offering clear benefits, rewards, and guidelines for partners. The Partner Program page comprises several key sections to facilitate seamless setup, customization, and management.
Set up and manage URLs
The URLs section is where you configure the links and settings for your Program Directory. This ensures your directory is easy to access and displays the necessary information for your users. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you understand and set up this section.
Directory Sub-domain
The Directory Subdomain is the web address where your Program Directory will be hosted. The provider can enter a word or phrase to create a unique web link for the directory. This generates a unique subdomain URL displayed in light text below the input field. This subdomain becomes the entry point for partners to access the program.
Key points to remember:
- The subdomain field is shared across multiple areas
- Directory
- App Stack Directory
- Partner Program
- Tech Partner Directory
- Any changes to the subdomain will apply to all these areas.
Other URLs
You can also link important legal and informational pages to your directory. These include:
Terms of Use URL: Link to the terms of your program.
Privacy Policy URL: Link to the privacy policy.
Cookies Policy URL: Link to the cookies policy.
Ensure these links are active and lead to pages that comply with your regional legal requirements.
Adding a Favicon
The Favicon is the small icon displayed on the browser tab when someone visits your Program Directory. It helps your directory look more professional and recognizable.
Steps to Add a Favicon:
- Upload the favicon file in the designated field.
- The icon will automatically appear in the browser tab for your Program Directory.
Program List
The Program List is where providers can create, manage, and edit partner programs. This section includes powerful tools to ensure ease of use and comprehensive functionality.
Creating a Partner Program
Click the "Create Partner Program" button to access the setup interface. The creation process includes multiple detailed steps:
Partner Program information:
- Program name: Enter a name for your program. This will also be used in the URL for your program page.
- Description: This is an optional field for Adding a detailed description to explain the program's purpose and benefits to potential partners.
Partner program rewards:
Motivate your partners by offering rewards.
- Reward name*: Search and select an existing reward or create a new one to associate with the program.
Refer to this article for more information on how to set up the Rewards.
Eligible partners
Define eligibility criteria for partners to ensure the program targets the right audience. The following fields are available for configuration:
Partner type: This is a mandatory field. You can select one or multiple partner types to define eligibility.
Partner group: First, choose a partner type. Once selected, the corresponding partner groups (if configured in the settings) will become visible for selection.
Region: Choose the relevant region(s) where the program will apply.
Country: Specify the country or countries eligible for the program.
Service category: Define the service categories relevant to the program.
Industries: Select the applicable industries for targeting partners.
Note: The AND rule applies between these fields. All selected conditions must be met for partners to be eligible for the program.
Cross Program Check button
The Cross Program Check button is a useful tool for determining whether any eligible partners for the current program have already been assigned to another Partner Program.
How it works:
- Once you define the eligibility criteria for your Partner Program (e.g., Partner Type, Group, Region, etc.), the system performs a check.
- By clicking the Cross Program Check button, you can view a list of partners who meet the eligibility criteria but are already enrolled in other active programs.
Key benefits:
- Prevents overlap and redundancy in partner assignments.
- Helps you better manage program exclusivity and partner participation.
- Provides a clear view of partner allocation across programs.
This feature ensures streamlined management and avoids potential conflicts between Partner Programs.
Tiers for performance
Set performance-based tiers to incentivize partners. Based on performance, each tier will be upgraded to the next tier automatically and the calculation frequency is 24 hours. The downgrade would not happen automatically unless the provider does it manually.
- Tiers: Assign benchmarks and thresholds for each tier. You can select from existing tiers or create new ones to align with your program’s goals.
Tier setup
Select or add a tier to display the predefined table below.
Note that the table’s content and titles cannot be added, removed, or edited.
To remove a tier, click the three-line menu next to the title.
Example: Tier points calculation
Under the table titled “Update LMS Courses Completion Points for Test Tier”, the user can modify the following fields:
- Condition: Select the desired operator from the dropdown menu.
- Threshold Value: Enter the required value (numerical).
- Points: Assign points based on the specified threshold value.
Tiers: Silver, Gold, Platinum
Total Points:
Silver: 50 points
Gold: 150 points (50 + 100)
Platinum: 290 points (150 + 140)
