The AppStack Directory is a resource designed to help small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) easily find and compare software stacks that meet their specific business needs. This Directory provides a comprehensive, searchable platform that allows users to explore a variety of app stacks, making it easier to identify the best solutions based on industry requirements, system compatibility, and software expertise. It also offers features like filtering and sorting to help users quickly find the most relevant options. With detailed information and reviews, the AppStack Directory ensures SMBs can confidently choose the right app stacks and implementation partners to support their growth and operational success.


An example of an AppStack Directory is as follows.



To start, Navigate to the AppStack Directory tab.



URLs



In the URLs section, you can configure the sub-domain to host the App Stack Directory and set links to pages within the Directory. Here's how the section is structured:

  1. Directory Sub-domain:

    • The sub-domain field lets you define the address for your App Stack Directory.
    • For example, as per the above image your Directory will be located at:
      https://abc.channelboost.com/app-stack-directory-listing
    • Note: Any update in this field will affect all directories, including the App Stack Directory, Partner Program, and Tech Partner Directory, as the sub-domain is shared across these areas.
  2. Other URLs:

    • Terms of Use URL: Link to the terms of use for your Directory.
    • Privacy Policy URL: Link to your privacy policy.
    • Cookies Policy URL: Link to your cookies policy.
  3. Favicon:

    • Upload a favicon that will appear on the browser tab when users visit your App Stack Directory page.


This section allows you to customize important aspects of your App Stack Directory, ensuring it is well-integrated and aligned with your platform's policies.


Customize Pages

The Customize Pages section allows you to personalize the branding and layout of various pages within your App Stack Directory to match your business's look and feel. You can modify the colors, texts, and design of the directory pages, ensuring they align with your brand’s identity.

    • Include essential links like Home, About, Contact, and other relevant pages.
  2. Banner:

    • Add a prominent banner at the top of the page to highlight key messages or promotions.
    • Use engaging visuals and text to grab the user's attention.
  3. Search Bar:

    • Enable a search function for users to quickly find specific app stacks based on keywords.
    • Customize placeholder text and search functionality to improve usability.
  4. Filters:

    • Provide intuitive filtering options for users to narrow down app stacks based on criteria like industry, region, or service category.
    • Configure filter categories to align with user needs.
  5. Grid Cards:

  • You can edit the form layout and preview it before it is finalized.

AppStack Management

The AppStack Management section is your central hub for managing all posts and entries within your App Stack Directory System Grids. This tool simplifies the organization and oversight of app stack data, making it easier to ensure accurate and up-to-date information is presented to users.


List View and Grid View:

Toggle between List View and Grid View to display and manage entries in your preferred format.

  • List View provides a detailed and structured layout for reviewing multiple entries at once.



  • Grid View offers a more visual approach, showcasing app stack details in an engaging format.




AppStack Grids Management:

  • Manage all posts for your system grids in one place, ensuring consistency and ease of updates.



Filters and Categories:

Organize and search for entries efficiently using filters such as:

  • All Posts: Displays every entry within your Directory.
  • Published: Lists entries visible to users.
  • Unpublished: Highlights entries currently hidden from the Directory.

Columns and Data Fields:

Each entry in the Directory includes essential details, such as:

  • System Grid: Name of the system grid or app stack.
  • Partner Name: Associated implementation partner for the app stack.
  • Status: Indicates whether the entry is published or unpublished.
  • Business Size: The business size(s) the app stack is best suited for (e.g., small, medium, enterprise).
  • Central Software: Core software or platforms included in the app stack.
  • Client Business Model: Business models the app stack supports (e.g., B2B, B2C).
  • Suitable Industries: Industries where the app stack is most effective.


Preview Grid, Add/Remove Grids from the Directory


Use the three dots to preview Grid, Add, or Remove from the Directory.
