My Partners

Overview

The My Partners section serves as a central hub for managing consultants linked to the software. It provides a streamlined and efficient interface for updating partner details, customizing views, and tracking progress. Updates such as modifying partner status, tiers, type, manager, or featured status can be made individually via a partner card or in bulk by selecting multiple partners.

The grid view in My Partners has been enhanced with clearer status indicators for Draft, Invited, and Active partners. The Status column has been repositioned for greater visibility and improved navigation across large partner datasets.

The partner card provides an in-depth view of each partner, including:

  • Contact details and status for quick reference.

  • A comprehensive Overview with performance dashboards, onboarding progress, contract details, partner programs, client management, growth opportunities, software specializations, and activity logs.

  • Insights with detailed dashboards to analyze performance.

  • Users & Contracts to see users linked to the partner account.

  • Training & Certification showing assigned courses and progress.

  • Referrals & Deals tracking partner activity in referrals and deals.

  • Draft status indicators for newly imported partners, allowing you to track onboarding progress more effectively.

Partners Acquisition

All partners who register as Technical Advisors through the Partner Application form  are listed on this page. Additional details can be viewed by clicking anywhere on the respective entry.

After gathering sufficient information about an applicant, choose to either accept or reject the application. To accept, click the accept icon to open a pop-up window. In this window, select the partner type, compose an email message, and include the necessary details. Upon sending, the message is delivered to the selected partner, who is then added to the invitee list in ChannelBoost.

If an applicant is rejected, a pop-up appears allowing the addition of an internal note and the option to notify the partner.

Note: To streamline the process of responding to partner applications or invitations, pre-configuring templates is recommended.

The following section explains how ChannelBoost enables software providers to invite Technical Advisors to join Coachbar’s Technical Advisors portal and propose cooperation. When an invitation is received, the Technical Advisor can sign up using the provided link. Upon successful registration, a guest subscription plan is assigned on Coachbar.

Fill in the relevant partner program and other required fields, then click Save. Once the invitation is sent, the status updates to "Sent". Use the "Insert Parameter" option to automatically generate specific values within the message. Be sure to include the "inviteUrl" parameter in the message content.

The Technical Advisor will receive an email with a link to accept the invitation, leading to a registration and sign-in page. During registration, the choice can be made to sign up as an individual or a business, and to register as a Technical Advisor, an accountant/bookkeeper (AB), or both.

Fill in the necessary details and create an account. Enter the OTP sent to your email box and hit the Verify button.

Once all the above steps are done, the Technical Advisor is taken to a new portal.

After accessing the profile, the "My Providers" module displays an "Invitations" section where Technical Advisors can view all software providers who have invited them to collaborate. Multiple software providers can invite the same Technical Advisors for collaboration.

The Technical Advisor can now accept or reject the collaboration invitation by clicking the action image.

Note: The status of the invite will be shown on both ChannelBoost PRM and the Technical Advisors portal.

Bulk Import and Bulk Invitations

The user can now import multiple partners into ChannelBoost using the CSV Upload option. Imported partners are saved with a Draft status, allowing to review and approve them before sending invitations.

To upload a CSV:

  • Navigate to the My Partners section.

  • Click the Import Partners button.

  • Use the provided template to ensure data compatibility.

  • Upload the completed CSV file.

Once partners are imported, the user can:

  • View draft status indicators directly on the partner cards.

  • Use filters to display only Draft partners for easier tracking.

  • Edit and finalize partner details before initiating outreach.

To send invitations in bulk:

  • Select multiple partners using checkboxes.

  • Click Send Invitations.

  • Choose a pre-configured or custom email template.

  • Use dynamic parameters like {{inviteUrl}}, {{partnerName}}, and others to personalize the invitation.

  • Once sent, the partner's status will change to "Sent", and the invitation will appear in their Technical Advisor portal.

Note: Email templates should be configured in advance to streamline the invitation process.
