Handling leads, linking Partners and Providers (SC Version)

Before you can add a lead to your SC portal, your software providers should recruit you as their partners.

You will also need to have your provider types configured, to accept an invitation from a software provider. 


Please navigate to Settings >> General, and configure accordingly. The type of software categories for your partnership could be ERP, HRM, Accounting, and more. Proficiency with the system is indicated by the status.


When a software provider recruits you, an invite will appear under My Providers >> Invitation. 



Simply click the action icon to accept or reject the invitation.



Once accepted, the invite will look as follows. 



When an invitation is accepted, navigate back to "My Providers" and you will see the provider name waiting to be categorized and assigned to one of the users using the SC portal. Assign all the relevant fields and save it.



Once these steps are completed, you will be able to add a lead to your SC portal.

Let's now add a lead to your SC portal


Navigate to the "Leads" tab and click "Submit New Lead" to add leads individually or in bulk via CSV.



When adding individually, please fill in or select all of the necessary fields needed.



The below fields are mandatory:

  • Select Provider: This dropdown menu lists all software providers connected to your SC portal. Essentially, we select the provider the lead is linked to. Multiple providers can be selected here.
  • Enter the "First Name", "Last Name", "Email", and "Company" as mandatory fields.
  • Finally, select a user from your SC portal to be the owner of this particular lead.


After filling in all the required information, proceed to save/submit it.



If you choose to save instead of submitting it, the lead will remain in the list until you hit submit.



Once the lead is submitted, this will then be visible in the PRM software lead section. The provider can then accept or reject it accordingly. 



After acceptance, this lead will be added to the software provider's pipeline to progress through relevant stages and ultimately convert to a deal.



After the lead has gone through all the necessary sales stages, you or the software provider can click on the "convert" button. If you are going to convert the lead to a deal, you will then be prompted to enter the deal amount, and you can also optionally add the close date.



 

After a lead is converted into a deal, the software provider will have access to the list of deals. They can assign an owner to the deal and either accept or reject it. Once the deal is accepted, you can arrange the commission between yourself and the software provider.
