Signing up for Coachbar

If you're new to Coachbar, you can explore its features by signing up for a free plan. You won't be charged anything, and there's no need to provide credit card information during the trial period.

Sign up for Coachbar using Google, Microsoft, or a business email.



Fill in the needed details.



Check your mailbox for an OTP.

Dashboard

The dashboard is equipped with an easily navigable interface that consolidates crucial metrics, data visualizations, and tools in a singular location. Its streamlined, modular design enables users to promptly access and comprehend real-time data, thereby facilitating efficient decision-making. Customizable widgets present vital KPIs, charts, and notifications, offering the option to delve into specific datasets or workflows. The dashboard exhibits responsiveness, ensuring a seamless experience across all devices, and seamlessly integrates with other systems, providing a comprehensive overview of operations, performance, and trends at a glance.

Brand Setup

Configuring your brand is an essential task for businesses of all sizes and industries. A carefully crafted profile can be a valuable marketing tool and communication asset, providing numerous benefits. Ensuring that the information is accurate will improve your business profile and contribute to its growth. It will also help your business stand out among other software providers and technical advisors, positively impacting its growth.


Partner industries

On this page, you can select the industries associated with the partners you collaborate with. If the industry you are seeking is not currently available, you can request its inclusion, and our team will promptly add it.

System Grids

System grids are software ecosystems where providers can offer their software to work together with other software within the same ecosystem. These grids enable Technical Advisors to access information about the ecosystem and find experts who can help them navigate it.

When creating a system grid, your software is added as the main core software by default.




You can create a grid of compatible software and publish it on Coachbar's directory.



Prepared System Grids from the Provider's end can be shared with new partners as they are added to the portal. To enable this, configure the required settings under the Partner Profile Requirement tab. This allows partners to save time by using the pre-created System Grids instead of building them from scratch. Additionally, as a software provider, you can ensure consistent and standardized System Grids across your partner profiles.




Personas

This section allows you to create your ideal target partner (partner personas) and ideal customer profile (customer personas). Creating an ideal customer and partner profile can help you attract relevant referrals for your business.


Click on "Add Persona" and you will be able to fill in the required details. We have categorized business details as shown below. These are different for Partner and Customer persona.

Based on the categories that determine your compatibility, you can drag and position them as needed.


The system utilizes Customer and Partner Personas by comparing them with the Partner's Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and data. The Provider ICP is matched against the Partner ICP, while the Provider Persona is compared with Partner details like Service Category and Industry. The results are displayed on the Partner Card under "Opportunities for Strategic Relationship Growth," showing Matched and Unmatched ICP for better alignment and collaboration opportunities.

Directory

My Partners

The My Partners section is your go-to hub for managing consultants associated with your software. It offers an easy and efficient way to update partner details, customize views, and track progress. You can make updates like changing partner status, tiers, type, manager, or featured status, either individually through a partner card or in bulk by selecting multiple partners.

The partner card provides an in-depth view of each partner, including:

  • Contact details and status for quick reference.
  • A comprehensive Overview with performance dashboards, onboarding progress, contract details, partner programs, client management, growth opportunities, software specializations, and activity logs.
  • Insights with detailed dashboards to analyze performance.
  • Users & Contracts to see users linked to the partner account.
  • Training & Certification showing assigned courses and progress.
  • Referrals & Deals tracking partner activity in referrals and deals.


Partners Acquisition

All partners who use the Partner Application form to sign up as Technical Advisors for your software will be listed on this page. You can view more details of this partner by clicking anywhere on the entry.


Once you have gathered enough information about an applicant, you can either accept or reject them. To accept, click on the accept icon, and a pop-up window will appear. Here, you will need to select the type of partner, compose an email message, and include the necessary details. Once you hit send, the message will be sent to the relevant partner. The partner you accepted will then be added to the invitee list in ChannelBoost.


If an applicant is rejected, a pop-up will appear where you can add an internal note and optionally notify the partner.

In the next part, let's talk about how ChannelBoost enables software providers to invite Technical Advisors to join Coachbar's Technical Advisors portal and propose cooperation. When a Technical Advisor receives an invitation to join, they can sign up using the provided link. Upon joining, the Technical Advisor is assigned a guest subscription plan on Coachbar.



Fill in the relevant partner program and other fields, then click save. The status will show as "Sent" after the invite is sent. You can make use of the "Insert Parameter" option to automatically generate certain values within your paragraph. Please ensure to include the "inviteUrl" parameter in the message. The Technical Advisor will then receive an email where they can click and accept the invite. They will be led to a page where you can register and sign in.


When registering, they can choose to sign up as an individual or business. You can also register as a Technical Advisor, accountant/bookkeeper (AB), or both.




Fill in the necessary details and create an account. Enter the OTP sent to your email box and hit the Verify button.




Once all the above steps are done, the Technical Advisor is taken to a new portal.


After accessing the profile, the "My Providers" module displays an "Invitations" section where Technical Advisors can view all software providers who have invited them to collaborate. Multiple software providers can invite the same Technical Advisors for collaboration.


The Technical Advisor can now accept or reject the collaboration invitation by clicking the action image.

This page will display the statuses of all contracts you manage using ChannelBoost.


My Subscription

Subscription

This section can be used to upgrade and maintain your ChannelBoost subscription as needed. When you are ready, go ahead and click on the "Upgrade plan" button.



Choose the best plan that suits your business requirements.


Once you select the plan, you will be directed to a secure page for payment processing. After the payment is completed, you will receive a notification, and your account will be subscribed.


If you opt for our enterprise plan, you will be directed to a Calendly link where one of our team members can assist you further.


Transaction history

This page displays a record of all your past payments, purchases, and other transactions during your time with ChannelBoost.


Automation

The ChannelBoost automation module enables you to automate matchmaking and manage referrals and deals.

Settings

Company Settings


Account Settings

Use this section to input your company details required for operation. Utilize the media and video gallery sections to showcase the services you provide and demonstrate your skills.


Domain Setup

Add your company's email domain to personalize emails with partners.



Once you add in your domain, proceed further by clicking the button. Next, please follow the instructions shown to set up your DNS records accordingly. (Check with your IT administrator)



Users and roles

Click the "Invite users" button, enter first name, last name, email, and assign a role.



Options to resend or delete an invitation are available. These actions can be done in bulk as well.
You can also filter by status and role.



If an invitation isn't accepted within 48 hours, it will expire. You can resend the invite by clicking the "message" icon.

Note: Only the owner and admin users can invite others to the system, including new owners. Only an owner can delete another owner.

Notification Settings

Notifications

To activate notifications for specific actions performed in the system, you can enable notifications for various events and program its action by clicking the pencil icon. You have the option to choose between receiving notifications internally (bell icon) or through email. To customize the notification message, you can use the available parameters. This will help you write a suitable notification message accordingly.


Partner Settings

Configure partner types and categories for easy identification.

Partner Status: What is the partner's proficiency level? Is the partner a beginner, intermediate, or expert?

Partner Tiers: The tier indicates the preference/value you have for a specific partner. This is also used when displayed in the partner directory listing.
Partner Groups (Optional): Partner groups can be utilized if further subcategories for partner types are needed.

Partner Type: Are they a reseller, implementation partner, referral partner, or something else?

Provider Products: If you offer multiple software options, please list them here

Partner Profile: This page enables you to set the criteria for potential partners to join you. It essentially determines the compatibility of a partner and the requirements to be listed in your directory.

Click on "Add requirements" to get started with adding and posting.


  

Template Settings

To simplify the process of responding to partner applications or invitations, it's helpful to pre-configure your templates. This will allow you to quickly select from a series of pre-written responses when notifying partners of their acceptance or rejection via email.



Use one of the sections above to create a template for different scenarios.



Referral Settings

Customize the data input for when entering referrals to your portal. Changes made here are reflected in the Referrals section when you hit the "Submit New Referral" button.
